Most of us hate to even think about dealing with salesmans let alone being one. THE REALITY IS THOUGH, that any success in any form of business is achieved one way or another THROUGH SOME FORM OF SALES.

Sales is the transferring of goods or services from one to another for a determined exchange of value.

Grasping the concept of GAINING A MENTALITY TO INITIATE SALES avails us another base of knowledge to engineer within our path to success.

By me encouraging you to develop a salesmans mentality I am by no means alluding to developing an ability of misleading misrepresentation through a gift of gab. That is actually the exact reason most of us do not like, or trust sales people. The purpose of developing a salespersons mentality is to


1) develop a tolerance for rejection, and


2) develop a mentality of cordial receptiveness toward others, strengthening our communication skills and dispelling reluctance due to rejection.


3) enable ourselves a comfort of communication to build relationships that ultimately assist our purposes.




For some people, rejection equates to feelings of depression, therefore creating a position of reluctance, inadvertently impairing your progressions and ability to confront others, even with an idea.

Developing a salesmans mentality will thicken your skin allowing you to counteract these rejections, to then utilize its benefits placing them toward your own progression. Within the process of rejection you learn to develop a philosophy of persistence and a method of maintaining course regardless of the obstacles of rejection.

No matter what path that you take to achieve successes, at some point people skills and your communication skills will come into play.

The very important concepts of any successful service or business is in its ability to communicate. Successful selling's entire philosophy is based upon receptive cordial communicating. By you developing a mentality of sales, you incorporate it's concepts into your person, increasing the effectiveness of your own communicatings.


Effective Communicating

As much as we do not like the idea of us being salesmans, conquering this feat will be highly beneficial to your advancement toward achievement in whatever field you choose to pursue.

Due to a more effective way of communicating you will unveil multitudes of opportunities, if even just through networking.

Incorporating a communication comparable to that of salesmen, are only a negative if your intent is negative.

Incorporating salesmans skills can ultimately benefit in the regard to improvement of yourself.

Many times, how you communicate is what will get you out of particular situations, as well as get you in certain situations.
